WHITE MIKE

MISSION

white-mike

You may seen have the WHITE MIKE posters around the city of Los Angeles–Malibu, PCH, Downtown L.A., Bel-Air, Hollywood, Melrose–but the real story behind the WHITE MIKE image is meant to shed light on the dwindling state of the Great White Shark population. While the WHITE MIKE posters may be splattered all over the streets of L.A., the sad state of the “White Mike” ’s is a global matter that needs to be addressed.

The sad reality is this:

“The global great white population has shrunk 70 percent in the past 50 years.” -ABC News.

Great White Sharks are needed to balance the eco-system. Take them out of this equation and the loss of this apex predator is chaos that will ripple not only in our oceans but elsewhere in our global community.

    Hello white mike!

I must say I totally agree with you, these sharks must be saved. They are wonderful animals and very important as you said. I found out about your cause on Mark’s website. I really like these sharks and it would be sad to loose them.

You have my support! Good luck!

Saw the posters near the Georgia Aquarium (where I am a volunteer) Was wondering what they were for, and now I know. BRAVO!! All creatures, big and small are part of the eco-system, and we must do what we can to be sure they survive, otherwise the consequences can be devestating for all.

Would love to see more around ATL. How do we get them? I have many other folks at the aquarium that are interested in “posting” them in the ATL and the burbs.

Keep up the work and get the work out. Would also be interested in small stickers as well.

My apologies to Jessica and White Mike… Oklahoma City police didn’t do such a great job accepting the cool art or getting the message, but I must say no one pressed charges when it was on private property, so that is something… Thank you for brining the sharks plight to Oklahoma…just because there is no ocean on our boarders doesn’t mean we get to overlook them… we are all connected…animal or plant…land or water! as said above…BRAVO!

The Juvenile whites were mistakingly thought to be Makos or Porbeagels. the Captains face 4ok in fines. You guys might want to get on this, I dont know what type of political or legal pull you guys have.
